I really like the whole idea of matched sets and this is a really sweet (and quite rare) matched set by Jerry Fisk that now resides in the collection of my fellow Canuck knife knut Gary Martin.
The blades a Woojack and Sendero are forged from 5160 round bars and double-tempered. Blade length on the Wookjack is approx. 7 ½, and on the Sendero a bit over 4 ½. The oil finished maple handles were cut from the same piece of wood and even marked top to bottom to get as close a match as possible. The engraved pins on both handles also help to visually bind the two knives together.
Gary is, as you would imagine, as happy as can be. I am, as you would imagine, as jealous as can be.
