Just found out my grades for this last semester:D

Everyone else I knew had already recieved their grades for weeks and I still haven't gotten mine. So I checked....... No I don't owe the college any money? Can't figure out why they never sent it to me:confused:

So I finally called to see what's up, just got off the phone with the secretary of the Criminal Justice program office and had her read off my grades.

4.0!!!!

Man I'm pumped!

I was totally scared going back to school. The first time I went to college the term "academic probation" was used with my name a good bit :)

I didn't follow the normal stereotypical image of the asian (super)student. :D

They actually had a seminar on that topic at my old college. It was titled, "Why asian are considered Super Students". I laughed and brought that whole seminar to a screeching halt. I just walked in there with my transcript and debunked that myth super fast :D

It was a little bit of no direction or wrong direction. Instead of focusing on the class material I focused in on the cute girl sitting in the opposite direction of the instructor. It showed in my grades. I have finally figured out how to divide my attention so that I can hear and understand what the instructor is saying BUT still be able to keep in view the other sites in the classroom :D

Emerson content: I'm gonna treat myself to something nice! Right now all I can afford is, probably, a small order of fries at McDonalds but that's why they have credit cards. :D
Hmmmmm wonder which one???

Great job, Ross! Congratulations!! :D

Hey Rosanghal,
Kick ass!:D That is a great feeling isn't it? This definitely calls for an Emerson.

Once upon a time I actually managed to fail out of FSU. It took real dilligence on my part to acheive this all time low. After all, FSU has been rated the #1 party college in the U.S. for something like ten years in a row.
When I finally came to...in another city, I decided to enroll in another college and I made straight A's that first semester as well. I graduated with a 3+ GPA and never looked back.

My suggestion: Go crazy and preorder a Super Commander.

Way to go man....I was so damn happy when I finally graduated. My wife wants to go back to school...I get the sweats just thinking of it.

Anyhow, the amount you spend on your "treat" should equal, in some way, the grade you received...that's how I'd do it.

CONGRATULATIONS BOI!!! :D:D

Way to go Ross...your hard work has paid off. (Remember, for every door that closes another opens...so that door in August that closed opened up new avenues for you) :)

LOL...:D you get that too!

I agree.

Emerson content : Shameful plug...I have a CQC7 for sale if you are interested...muahaha :D:rolleyes:

CONGRATULATIONS BROTHER!!! :D

Moving on to bigger and better things. The feeling of achievment can only be surpassed by one other...that's love (and not what most of you dirty minded buggers were thinking).

I say, forget the knife and go share the excitement with the family.

Doh!!! What am I saying...get a knife!

:D

Way to go - just stay away from the For sale forums for the next few days until you calm down.

Regards,

Ed

Congratulations!

I had always considered you one of those "Smart ass Asians". I'm glad to see that I was correct!

I can very well understand the relief of finding out those grades. In the insurance business when testing, it's either "pass" or "fail". When I finally finished I dang near broke down in tears!

It's Time To Celebrate!

Congrats Ross. CJ is an honorable field of study.
IF you think you had some difficulty in the school the first time around, just remember THAT I still HOLD the record in the State of New York.
1973 NY STATE REGENTS EXAM for Algebra: Fourth time I had taken test. SCORE: 19%.............out of a possible 100%...... A NEW STATE RECORD!!!!!!
Keep up the great work.
