Woo's kydex sheath

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to loosen the grip of the Woo's kydex sheath? It is very difficult to extract the knife, and when I do, the black coating is scraped from the blade.

Drill or file out the bottom rivet. If the sheath is too lose afterwards, epoxy the sheath shut a little or try a chicago screw in one of the holes above where the rivet was.
