Well, they ended last Friday, but all of the results weren't available until today. All the same,

:D! I know we have a few other college students here, (naamarie, skydog, spectre?) I imagine you guys are all celebrating with me. So how did you all do? I recall there was some interest in the results in other threads. Mine went better than I hoped. My final grades in Chem, Econ, Math, and English were B+, A, A- and A, respectively. The English grade shocked me, since most of my papers were somewhat, um, hostile towards the liberal arts. I don't necessarily dislike them, I just really like the courses themselves. Not that I'm complaining about the grade of course, just surprised. Anyways, there they are, for those who asked. Here's hoping everyone else's results were also good or even better. :)

your finals are over. congratulations.

I've had two exams in december already, passed them both. knock on wood. the third on is on the 23rd. how about that?

cheers to you. you did well.

Finals. That's one of the things about college that I can still remember. Last college final that I took was 27 years ago.

Cong Rats on the grades, RR!

Congrats Roadrunner. I felt the same way about the English classes. But I was goot at them too. My boss now tells me he thinks the writing courses are the most important in any degree. (I'm an electrical engineer.) He knows what he is talking about. You'll be writing your entire career no matter what your job is. Be sure to get a business writing course in. Nobody wants to read that flowery liberal arts trained writing...except us.

Congrats RR!!!!
Those are grades that would make anyone proud, or should anyway! :D

Andy is right about how important the writing is in the business world. Comprehension is right up there as well but it looks like you have that covered as well with your grades being what they are.
Depending on what field you go into both of the skills may be more important than you realize. One of the requirements not often thought of is working with tech writers. One of our daughters is a tech writer and she highly values the engineers and other technical folks who understand the values of good writing and comprehension.

I'm right up there with ya! Isn't break great? I'm already looking for grinders, and have already re-profiled my FF handle. Man, life is good. Grades were good, and so is my school. Congrats, and I know your joy!

Chris
