So a LOOOOONG time ago... (ok, maybe not that long, about 5 years or so) I participated in a knifemaker KITH/Exchange here on BF. I send the other guy my second knife EVER (of which I'm still ashamed...but he ignores my pleas to send it back to me so I can make him something better) and I recieved a nice knife from him.

The knife had a coffin style handle. And over time I grew to love that. Then sometime about a year and a half ago I decided to try my hand at a coffin handle.

My knife needs in daily life however are fairly simple and I can suffice with smaller (3") blades normally. So I figured I'd best build what I know. And I built me a series of smaller blades with a 3" blade and a 4" handle. I did some variations on those and this one is the latest in that series.

It's Wootz steel from Harris Custom Knives with a composition of: C1.00, CR.50, MN.1.00, SI.50, V.30, MO .50, W .50.
And the handle scales are Stabilized Redwood Burl from Mark Farley. (Thanks mark! It's awesome stuff).

Sadly, I just realized I don't have any pictures of it yet but I'll add those when I get home later in the day.

So in the mean time, here's a video.

Sorry for taking so long. It's been a long day.
