Woox Volante

The Woox stocks are so beautiful. I’m debating weather or not that sticker stays on the handle… the Appalachian hickory underneath is beautiful.

head looks like prandi's german range
That's 'cause it is! I actually helped consult with those. They wanted a throwing model with the cost minimized and Prandi is their forging contractor for their axe range. I told 'em "if you're really trying to keep price down for the heads without compromising on quality, probably using one of their stock heads as a base for the build makes the most sense since there aren't tooling costs involved, and these ones match the requirements best out of the ones they currently produce." WOOX's parent company is Minelli Wood Products and they make their own handles. The company is a major supplier to other manufacturers for highly complexly-shaped wood components. They even make the wooden scales on Mora's most recent range of upscale full tang fixed blades.
