Just watched a video on the ESEE lite machete from christian survival guide. The guy said he had a problem with the edge rolling on his machete and contacted Jeff Randall about a possible bad heat treatment or to thin of an edge grind at the factory. All the guy wanted was to talk about a good way to re-profile the edge. Jeff talked with him awhile on the subject and said he would just feel better sending him a NEW machete because that particular one was not up to his standards. This in my book is unreal customer service. Once again my hat is off to old world values of a man standing behind customers who stand behind his product. And by the way he got to keep his old machete, and this technically is not even damage covered by the warranty. This is a prime example of really giving a shit about customers and I am glad to be one of many.

That's the truth aid right there. Word of mouth...
Now Jeff gives a damn about safety and ppl, but the interesting thing is he doesn't hype ESEE stuff. No one really does. There are just evidences that they work great

+1 BIG TIME!!!

The problem is we have no control over Imacasa's quality control so we do not warranty the edge since it's simply a machete and most all Latin machetes need touching up and re-profiling. Not to mention you're gonna hit rocks and bang up the edge if you're using them hard as they're meant to be. With that said, the guy you're talking about in this thread did have a problem and he sent us pics. It was weird because we have only had a couple of them do this, so we just wanted to make sure he at least got a good dull machete he could work with ;)

word of mouth is ok, tho I'd buy more if they'd put their knives on one of those lit billboards so bright that it blinds you and ticks you off all at once !! :)

I can read it now...
ESEE...
KNIVES SO SHARP THEY CAN EVEN CUT OFF YOUR NIGHT VISION

I think good ole' honest business & a good product goes along way. Main reason I use ESEE products almost exclusive

No matter what companies feed the general public when everyone is watching, the true values of a company come out in the form of one small customer with a problem when no one is watching. I am just proud to carry ESEE products and be apart of all the guys on this forum who carry the products for the same reason.
