i think ecos is jason aube- if so then i have one of his cord wrapped tantos and it's a fantastic utility type knife, used it as my only knife for over a year

I have handled quite a few at local shows. They are nice, thin, super sharp slicers. Go for it! :D

Not yet, I am entirely broke!

I think one of those Kiridashi's would make a fine go-to utility piece. Don't you?

He sells alot on ebay for good prices. I've owned several and still have a few. They are always sharp and fairly well designed. Well worth the asking price.

The finish is not something you would get in a more expensive custom Japanese style blade but you cannot go wrong if you want one for an everyday cutter.

Eventually I will. The one I sold was a tad too short, but the profile, grip, edge, even the kydex was excellent. I wish some three-digit custom makers did their kydex as nice as that affordable ECOS.

Ja! I'm hooked on Kydex. Leu, Bradburd and Oku, all made excellent Kydex sheaths for my knives. BRK&T, did-up a nice sheath also.

And you are??
:)
Where is my Bargain knife from you??!! :O
Take yer time, Masta.
