How did you do the stripes on the blade?

thanks Robert.....on this one I dripped paint on the top edge & let it run down the sides, etched when dry.....

I love the profile of this knife and the way you did the handle and pommel, but I am not fond of the etching. It's probably just me, but I think it would look better without it.

A question for you Frank. Do you forge your blades or do you use the stock removal method?

I have to agree with you on this one Keith, I don't like the etch on this style of blade so well, I'm currently altering this one's appearance.....stock removal only at this time.....

I agree, lose the etching and you're left with a super sweet knife. Love that burl!
