Thought it might be interesting to start a thread on the knives people are actually using and/or carrying at work to do their jobs. The more it is used, the better! Post photos and/or commentary on the blade that is your favorite workplace knife, anything that gets a lot of use is welcome! Thanks!

I put my opinels through the ringer and they hold up good, cutting beach wood, soil, hardened muddy dirt, food stuffs, aluminum cans, they can deal.
I cut a pen into threads, *don't ask*
Lost most of its sharpness however. The knife I primarily used was no 8 slim, no damage to the tip during all this.
Good work knife

Cell phone pic. I wanted to participate, but it's been one of those days, all week.

Can't show the folding utility knife, because it's in the tool box at the part-time job. Don't need to, they're all the same.

Left to right, CRKT/Lightfoot M1. Still one of the better knives CRKT made.

Alox Electrician. Does the stuff, wire stripping blade offers excellent control. The rounded ends mean that it's more pocket-friendly than most knives.

Camillus Electrician. Sees some use, now and then. The screwdriver "blade" has a sharper portion near the bottom which is extraordinary: you can feel the difference between the wire jacket and the conductor, when you cut through.

Marble's G. I. Jack. It was cheap and interesting. I carry it at my current job where the policy about sharp things brought from home is ambiguous, and we're all smart enough not to give anybody reasons to interpret it!

All excellent choices and hard workers! Btw, I am not limiting anyone's choices, I am hoping to see user knives of any type used in any kind of work environment as long as they are getting a lot of use, this includes food service etc. My now grown kid and I both commute from work each day and we have been discussing our users and how they come in handy/useful, your photos and comments add to our knowledge and discussion as we celebrate the practical nature of these tools!

It's a new week! Show us what you've been working with! Also, give us an idea of what sorta work gets done with your Work knife Wednesday Wonder! Thanks!

OK, I’ll play, but it’s nothing exciting… I’m a designer and work at a desk from home all day. I’m Iowans in basketball shorts or running pants, so the little Dragonfly is perfect.
Happy Wednesday! Nothing exciting, but it suits your needs and clearly has been a useful worker--perfect for this thread! Anything that is used in the workplace is welcome.
