work sharp field shapener

Hey all. Has anyone tried the WS field model? Has 20 degree angel guide, 2 diamond plates a ceramic rod and a leather strop. I always had trouble getting a nice edge with a stone or strop, and really, all I need is something to touch up the edge. I just can't seem to bring a dull blade back to razor sharp. Thanks for any Info. R

I was curious about this thing as well. The one thing I was concerned with was heating blade while sharpening. I suck with a stone and have never really done will with a strop.

Think he's talking about the stones not the powered sharpeners .

great sharpener. Use mine more than my regular WS. Easy, but it takes a little practice at first. Love this baby!
