all of my kitchen knives, and many of my other knives, now have a highly polished 6000 grit convexed edge, including my machax :) it's never been so sharp.

course, over time, they'll even get more sharp i expect, a matter of the knives getting "used to" the new process.

oh yes...

Really...thats it. WHAT DID YOU DO to your knives to get them so sharp? Don't say "sharpen them" either!

oh, the things you can do with a sharpened knife. i mean, ten easy payments of $9.99 plus shipping. hahahahhhah. not.

wonder how hard it is to sharpen a knife without a work sharp?

mmm, 6000 grit... buy a device? or learn to use stones? mmm...

well, i've been doing it "by hand" for years, it's tedious...

the apex pro is pretty good too. best i've used really...

but the work sharp is just ... easy, convenient, and fast. this is a good thing.

power tool corrupt. absolute power tools corrupt absolutely :)

After getting the WS, I can't even hardly look at a manual sharpener, other than a strop. I've still got a couple tucked away, but the WS gets it done FAST.

not quite mirror but close, hard to get mirror with a WorkSharp, after quite a bit of trying, even if i add Mothers paste i still can't get mirror shine

I have been sharpening knives for over 40 years with stones and can get a blade pretty dang sharp, but who cares....I still want one of these bad boys!

Power tools are good......Good power tools are even better.......

A word to the wise.....Bladite CAN sharpen 'em by hand......To my mind knowing how to use a hand drill is important BUT, I use a strike anywheres or a Bic everyday......I keep a Norton Fine India by the sink but I love the KMG 2 x 72 belt grinder in the shop......

All Best....

Nice job robino! UPS says mine will be here today.:)
Don't start out with one of your nice blades. When we first got those in at jerrys I played with it for a couple days to try and get the feel for it. I had just gotten my first BK2 and wanted to convex it. Within a fairly short time I started to get a Re curve in the belly of the blade so I stopped using it. I never did go back and give it another try. That was last january or so.

Worksharp is Gooooooood! Glad to see I'm not the only one loving mine!
