I noticed on the big auction site that one of the belt shops is selling 3M Trizact belts sized for the Work Sharp Ken Onion (3/4" x 12").

Any WSKO users tried them, and if so, how do they compare to the Norax belts available from the Work Sharp folks (Darex)?

Thanks,

Andrew

No comparision here- but I have 2 for my 2x72 belt sander, and they work great, seem to last longer than my Norton's of equivalent grit. If they made some for the BGA I might have to check out.

WorkSharp has some trizact belts for the BGA on their website.

We have 3M Trizact A5 and A35 (5 and 35 micron) on our website in 1"x18" for the Blade Grinding Attachment.
They are film backed, not cloth backed like the Norton Norax.
They do have a long life, but we have experienced them to have more 'bond' and less 'abrasive' than the Norax.
So while they do last a long time, they have very different cut rates.
