I've been working on my Leading Edge system upgrades for the Work Sharp Precision Adjust and it seems that my system might soon be available from https://www.gritomatic.com/

This will integrate my system with the Work Sharp Precision Adjust to give it some major upgrades.

It is the same magnetic mount as my Leading Edge sharpening system and it will work with all of my Leading Edge adapters, including small blades, large blades, scissors, chisels and many more.

Some more pics. In the first 2 photos you can see that I designed the platform to have stowage space for the original knife clamp, and also for the Leading Edge accessories that you may not be using for your current sharpening session.

Pic below of the Original Work Sharp knife clamp, stowed inside the stabiliser brace, and the Leading Edge large blade magnetic platform stowed on the back of the stabiliser leg. Here I am using a small blade on the magnetic platform and the vertical knife support plate to compensate for the sabre-type grind on this knife. 4 inch Venev diamond stone being used:

Going to order one of these asap. I like the idea of the magnets and the mount for the scissors looks solid as well. You gotta love it when smart/creative people make a good product even better. BTW - This, and also my Leading Edge sharpening system will be available soon at Gritomatic. We are just sourcing good quality USA suppliers for the magnets and hardware, then we will make it available.

Here is another sneak peek of a new type of stone holder that I recently designed for the Work Sharp precision adjust. This will allow you to use any 4 or 6 inch stones. Gritomatic already sells my spring assisted stone holders for the Work Sharp precision adjust; these ones will be an alternative option.

A variation of these holders will also be available for KME, Lansky and Wicked Edge systems from www.gritomatic.com

I will be looking for the new stone holder as well. I have one of your earlier holders that used spring retention to hold the stone. I believe a screw type retainer will hold the stone much better. Nice job, my checking account keeps getting smaller after clicking on this thread, lol!!!!!

Hmmm it would seem the short length front to back of the Precision Adjust would make the table unsteady unless sharpener was held or clamped down or magnet was used to free up a hand...
if a KME base was held or clamped down, how cool would a table be for quickly working on edges?
