I got this little angle guided sharpener Friday and spent the weekend working with it. Overall it is a decent sharpener and definitely good for the price. For entry level it is highly recommended.
A couple of things I didn't like:
1) The stone holder assembly is not tight. In other words, the handle you hold while sharpening is loose by design. It moves side to side as the stone stays stationary. It makes it feel flimsy, and I feel you lose a little bit of the "feel" from the stone as it slides over the edge. I am used to the Edge Pro Apex where everything is solid.
2) The plastic feels a little cheap. It all works well, just nothing feels as solid as compared to a Hapstone or Edge Pro.
3) The stones are small, 1/2 inch x 4 inches.
Again, for the price it is top notch. And you can certainly get a scary sharp edge on your knives. It competes well with the Lansky and KME for sure!
