Hey all, I'm just getting into traditional folders and I'm wondering if any manufacturers other than case offer worked or scrolled bolsters. Thanks for any help!

Oddly I tend to see them the most on low end knives, mostly from Asia, and high end custom made knives.

I know Gerber makes a traditional with stag, or possibly "Stag", handles that appears to have worked or more likely lazer etched bolsters that runs about 20-30 dollars.

I saw something very recently that Johnnytwoshoes had, it was a Tuna Valley knife with scrolled Bolsters - absolutely beautiful, and that is a v.good quality knife!

I put together this set for the possibility of discussion of bolsters for the forum knife, but here are a few bolsters with some work done, but no scrollwork.

Some Canal Street Half Moons and pinch backs have scrolled bolsters. I know the recent Red Trout releases have scrolled bolsters.

I have a Case Small Texas Toothpick Scrolled Himalayan Merino Ram SN118 #99160, which I bought about a year ago. I did not note who I bought it from. A really nice looking knife, tho.
