I worked on a sword yesterday. There are many places in the world where making a weapon, and carrying one are illegal. It seemed like the American thing to do.

I've lived my life with the misguided notion that Americans are so well armed no one would dare to attack us on our own soil. Today my sword has nothing to bite, but that will change.

These cowards have no idea what is in store for them. The world has forgotten what Americans can do. Well here comes the wakeup call.

i have always carried knives as tools. today I found myself drawing a 6 inch clip point with a false edge in an ankle sheath. (it must wait untill saturday, sigh)

I think you are right though. our responce should be to arm ourselves. I am saddened to think that the government will probobly use this as an excuse to take away the weapons we use to protect ourselves, under the guyse of protecting us. Eric

Dangus

I know what you mean, I worked on a double edged pig sticker today, and screwed up 3 different handles for it until I finally got it finished. It wouldn't have been so bad but I had the handles almost completed before I screwed them up.
The terrorist attack just makes a person sick and mad at the same time.I should have laid the knife down and found something else to do but I probably would have screwed it up to. Its hard to conscentrate with all thats going on in the U.S.
It sure makes a person proud to be an american, when you see all the great people of this country (NYFD,NYPD,EMTs,CIVILIANS from all over) give so bravely, to help those in need. GOD BLESS THEM ALL.
Dave I really like your avatar.
