Working and drilling sheep horn

I am thinking about trying some sheep horn on my up and coming next knife,I am thinking about sheep horn.
I have several questions,how is it as far as working and how is it drilling.I drill both scale at the same time,can this be down with horn.

Sheep drills fine, but it can have hard and soft spots in it. Not a problem with regular pins, but if you countersink like for screws on a folder or loveless bolts for a fixed, you need to watch for the, they can pull on through. Hope this helps.

Just make sure and use sharp bits and belts as it will burn easy if you are not careful.Otherwise It works great.
