Hello knife enthusiasts,

Member since 2005 - 1st post!

I have been working on my sharpening skills for a while. I have purchased a few inexpensive knives to practice with, and I think I am starting to get pretty good at it.
Here is a Cold Steel Ricon 1 I have had for about a year.

And finally, here is a video of a Spyderco Manix I have had for a few years. It is approaching truly scarey sharp!

Ti-Carbo - Learning how to put a edge on a knife one strop pass at a time... ;)

Nice edge Ti-carbo - even nicer and way more educational for everybody here on BF would be a video showing how you do it! So many ways to skin a cat, so many excellent videos on BF already but we all never can get enough ...

Looking good, you seem to have a slight distortion near the heel on both blades though. Looks as though you are forcing a bevel curve and not following the existing one.
