I recently got a used David Beck WSK, and would like to get some work done on it. This is my first good knife and want to take care of it. Does anyone know who I could go to to get it sharpened I dont have a clue on how to do so. I tried Roger linger, but he was to busy with making knives, which I hope to own one day. Is there anyone else as good as Roger who I could take my knife to to get it in good shape?

Where are you located? Might be somebody close, or you can check out a lot of custom makers who might do some work for you by sending it to them.

Scott Gossman, of Razorback Knives, posts here a lot. I know he's busy (especially now that word is out on his knives), but he's a great guy (and great maker) who may be able to help you.

Oh, and, CONGRATS! Dave Beck makes some of the best blades on the planet.

I would love to help you out. My workload is increasing but sharpening is not that time consuming. If you're interested let me know. I reside in northern Maryland. There may be a maker closer to where you live you could also check with. Good luck. ;)
