"Wear a resperator" is about all I know. I got a fair ammount off of ebay, but the pieces are much larger than I had expected. I'm going to try and take some of the girth out with my sander (Bad idea?) but I'm wondering if I have to treat this stuff first.
I'm something of a greenhorn. Actually, this is for my first knife so of couse I want to get it right. I'm sorry if this has been covered before. I'm new to this area of the forums and it's pretty enormous. If there is another thread you could link me to, I would appreciate it.

Use fresh belts and don't get it hot. Bring it close to shape an then dye it or you can dye it on the knife. Try not to expose any of the pith (center) of the stag when completed. Dosent look that great.
