yep! once i found it and was chopping with a wood backing everything went much smoother.

I have had mine for a while but I just last week finally had a chance to use it. What a great knife it is comfortable,stable in the hand and chops like a dream. If you have the cash try one if you don`t love it sell it here for a few buck less than you paid and move on.

My BK9 has been my workhorse for a long time now. I got a Chestnut Ridge kydex sheath for it and piggy-backed a Mora onto it with some para-cord and every time I go out that combo keeps me company and does everything I need it to! Glad you love your BK9 as much as I do.
