Here's what's on my bench this morning...

All but 2 of these are orders....the 2 in natural canvas in the middle are going to the Blade Show. (not available)

3 Dankuras in O1 and Blue/Black G10 with black liners

1 is an order - the other 2 are available (but might end up being saved for the Blade Show :D).

No! I'll do it :thumbup: It's a fun project for me and keeps me out of trouble;)

Seriously though if I could get every knife like that I'd would cause I really like shaping them to fit my hand:thumbup:
 
I really like the look of those Dankuras, what is their intended use? fighter, utilty, or camp?
 
Any chance one of those Bushcrats is 3V with my name on it? Jones horribly ever since a friend showed me his Bushcratf:) Making the wait on my order that much harder!

Hi Dan,

Looking at this picture I noticed some subtile differences between the knives. Especially the second from the right has some features other knives don't have.

The thumbserrations on the spine go further.
The edge starts right from the ricasso.
The distance from handle to edge is much smaller.
The buttend has a very different shape then the 4th and the 5th knife from the left.

Some things I would really like in my knife..

I really like the input your customers seem to have, and it inspires me to give deeper thought to my Bushie in 3V. I hope we'll be in touch somehow before it's my turn..

Good observation there MRRTN!

I kept looking at those and saying to myself "Are the handle slabs shorter? "

I knew there was something different between most of those in the pics and the one I already have but I couldn't put my finger on it:confused:

Now I realized that it's that on the one I have the edge starts right after the little guard bump and on most of those there's that ricasso setting between the end of the edge and the guard.

The 2nd from the right is actually a skeletonized knife from the first production run...sent back to get a handle.

Are there still any more blanks like that? Or can be made like that?
I have more osage and I really like the way my first one is:thumbup:

I'd be willing to wait at the back of the line:thumbup:

I definitely prefer the grind going all the way back to the ricasso like the 2nd from the right - looks like the ones I saw that made me want one (so I ordered two:o). Is this something I should have specified or is that a difference between previous and current?
 
Jeff H - I will do yours closer to the guard...but I like it better how it is above.
