World Time Zones

There seems to have been a problem with some not being able to figure time. Here is one link from Yahoo:

I imagine everyone who is computer literate - and most of us who surf the internet are, can find this and other links.

easier to use GMT (or is it UTC now?)

(especially if you live 60 mi west of the greenwich meridian)

I am not computer literate but have no trouble seeing all the time zones on the computer. It's right down there by the clock. The poster recently who attempted to jump the gun on fair offer to the FF cannot use time confusion as an explanation. Contests, giveaways, raffles; all that stuff has rules. Living in Australia, or Montana, does not change that.


At any rate, it wasn't the miscue that was a problem, it was the reaction afterwards by the poster.

"I did it wrong give it to me anyway it's all your fault I'm going to Tora."

OK. I doubt times zones, being a Republican or Democrat, or what you had for breakfast has any thing to do with that thought process.

OOps - missed the other thread that prompted this one when i stuck my foot in it above... i am not gonna say anything but yvsa was right there, and anyone literate enuff to use a computer oughta know time zones, especially if they are from NZ. his outburst was not that of a mature individual.
