Man, I was able to follow that one right through to the end. Didn't even have to take a bathroom break. And, I like the results tremendously. Nice job. Bruce.

Sweet Bruce. Your feather damascus is to die for!

I still remember, with astonishment, some killer BB folder-shooter WIPs with numerous pages of posts and tens of thousands of reads. Short and sweet is nice too!

All the best, Phil

Damn, I like it! I actually had to contact bruce immediately cause I want a new carry knife.. but this one was sold. Another day..

Now thats the kind of WIP us people with dial up internet service can really appreciate. Great job Bruce, very nice wharny.
What did you use for your escutcheon guide plate so the the milling bit didn't eat it up?

Hi Bill,
I bought a couple sizes from USA Knife supply. This one is the large bowtie. Tracy Mickley has them made by GLWJ
Here is Tracy's link to the shield page. I heat treat the parcer plate so its nearly full hard. Full hard will crack when clamped down to the rounded handle material.

Based simply on the thread title alone, this required a peek. I prefer seeing the finished product, not some long, drawn out thread that features every twist and turn of it's making. Thanks, Bruce, for recognizing some of us don't like the agony of following WIP threads.

I wonder how many knives I miss seeing because I don't bother to look at WIP threads?? Bruce, thanks for this thread. Not only do we see your great work, but yer keepin' it simple, thanks! And as always, a super finished product - and some of the finest feather damascus known to man.

Best,

Bob

Ejector pins for your temporary pins, that’s another great idea. The plate that is your pattern for the escutcheon, is that also your punch plate for the escutcheon? Very cool. Thanks
