Cold steel warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear, and they do not cover abuse. i know for a fact they test their knives to the limit for their own research, and they advertise proof of what their knives can take. their warranty does no cover use of an ax, prybar, chisel, punch, or other abuse. however, it does still happen. and we who have had to use our knives for more than just cutting are proud to see them stand up to it after they do, so for the sake of those who enjoy cold steels quality and performance what is your favorite story of super strong, and super sharp?
my recon scout is my ultimate beater knife. ive cut a tree down and turned it into a bat, and then hammered it through another tree. ive felled countless trees, ive stuck it into a cynderblock, ive stoof on it, pried with it, had to cut metal, cardboard, anything. this knife is a beast! carbon v
super sharp. i carry an xl voyager for a defense knife. it is hollow ground and reprofiled thin, and i sharpen it with a 16k stone and stroped it to whittle hair effortlessly.
