In the interests of balance we publish the following list. Thank you to François Palard.

Between brackets: the modern location of where the battle took place

Edited to add - the exceptional length of the list was the whole point and the reason why I posted it in full!!! I think you reinforced that point beautifully! Thank you Ken.

I don't think there are any on the list prior to about 1792 either- it's not comprehensive.

Here's one anyway...

Battle of Malakoff
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

I saw this one at the bookstore at the university of New Mexico about twenty years ago:

Brace yourself Bridgett
The Irish Sex Manual

It had about 40 pages of glossy paper all of which were blank.

FRENCH WAR HEROES
by Jacques Chirac
 sooooooooooo close...

Obviously any work of "scholarship" by Jacques Chirac would be among the world's shortest.
But a "chauvinistic hagiography" might be very long.
Chirac's buddy, French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepan (who is a man, by the way) published a 600-page book on Napoleon in 2001.
