I've seen this show a few times in National Geographic.Basically this guy goes around the world and helps fix hard to fix projects.
on the episode where he helps replace a pressure dome on a jumbo jet he did a demonstration to show what explosive decompression looks like.(he shook the crap out of a can of soda and then stabbed it with his knife). It looked like a Benchmade but I'm not totally sure.It was slender, black spear-point and an AXIS lock.
It's a pretty good show.catch it if you can.Maybe you can ID his knife.

Sounds like a Benchmade 530.
Is it this one?

I was hopping to see him use it again last night but he was doing a lot of diving so it didn't get used.he carries it in a chest rig he wears. He keeps all his goodies in it.

Hey savage, you should watch "Homeland Security" too, lots of knives and gear in that show as well. I keep watching that show just to see if I can ID the benchmades etc. that flash by when personnel use their own knives :)
