Thanks Worldwood for the inspiration from your Choppy. I think yours looks amazing......which lead me to try an emulate a fantastic and functional look.

And finally.........this....

This is the 3rd time Choppys sunk he's teeth into me. This one hit bone and probably needed stitches.......but it was a small enough cut.....nothing a tight wrap for a few days won't heal. It bled like a faucet though and would not stop for a long time. Oh well.

The Chopweiler has quite the attitude and gets flat out nasty if not fed often.

Mmmm two-tone! Lookin' good bud!

Right on dogg!

I'm just looking into getting my first swamp rat, and that sir is a beautiful knife!

Thank you man! Get one........you WILL love it! Choppys turn up on the exchange from time to time........but they are getting fewer and further in between. This was my grail knife for some time. Got it new and unused. He was madder than a wet hen when I got it for not being fed for so long. Now..........he wants to bite everything in sight!!!! ;-)

Looks great. Hope that bite heals up fast. Now get out and feed that thing before it bites again.

Thanks again guys!

I'm sure I did it the hard way. I'm not quite finished yet........but all I used was a ton of 220 grit cut in small pieces and sanded by finger tip followed up 600 grit. Its taken about 2.5 hours per side. So I'm about 5 hours into it. Just a little touch up work left. Labor of love........and I LOVE my Chopweiler.......even if it is mean and nasty.

Great work brother!!

I did mine by hand with a drywall sanding sponge. Took a couple hours per side as well. But its worth it when its finished thats for sure!!

Oh yea... She is going to keep on biting you if you dont show her who is boss. You have to be the alpha.

Anytime one of mine bites me i beat the hell out of it for it a couple hours and teach it some manners. Some people roll their eyes, some call it knife abuse, some even try and get "Knife Services" involved... But around here we call it good 'Ol fashioned discipline and a good beating just comes with the territory!!

.... If i was talking about children id have 2 SWAT teams, a tank, and 4 past presidents here to arrest me  and id prolly try and give them all a spanking too :D

Btw......like the name implies....the Chopweiler chops like a beast with the factory coating. After having stripped the blade......it now chops and bites noticeably better and deeper. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better. Wow!

Man. I gotta not be on these forums so much. All I do is find more and more things to want. You guys don't make it any easier either... What with your cool two tone choppers... And bloody fingers......(bloody)
