Well, the guests are gone ,the food is put away, and the dishes are washed.
Today I hosted the Annual Scottish Picnic at my place. Temperature was 98, so some didn't show, but 32 hardy souls did. Lots of great BBQ and other eats. Plenty of beverages,too. Some stayed inside, but about 15 were out under the tents most of the afternoon.
The yard was in near full bloom, and was at its best for strolling through the gardens.
I'm whooped, but happy for a successful party.
I hear a 21 year old Balvennie calling my name.
