Worn sebenza micarta inlays

So I just bought my first small sebenza with micarta inlays (second sebenza that I own).
I've only had it for less than a week and the micarta is already all black (which I'm okay with). Granted, I do work in a machine shop that uses oil for coolant so my hands always have some oil on them even if I wipe them with a towel before using my sebbie. All of this has made me curious as to how it could look 2-5 years or more from now.

My questions are : How does the micarta wear over time? Does anyone have a crk with micarta inlays that they've had and carried for years? Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

There is a photo of my small Classic MM micarta somewhere(worn thread) here(lost my photo's), that I carried the majority of the day for 8 or so years. I sent it to CRK recently to be reblasted, and it looks like new
Before sending it in , the inlays would get a bit dark, then I would clean them, but the ti had the finish almost completely gone. The micarta inlays hold up real well.

Here are some pics of my oldest CRK. Had this knife for years. Washed in the sink, carried in wet pockets, cleaned with brake cleaner, soaked in oil, used on the beach. No quarter given to this bad boy.

This what black Micarta looks like with no special care:
