I had to post this somewhere. $2800 is the asking price. Curious if this is Suchat Jangatong's shop (I own a gaudy but nice/famous one of his folders) or his son or something...

With this design and at this price you are buying a piece of art in the shape of a knife and not a knife. It’s not to my taste as either art or knife but I’d rather see someone pay 2800 for this than a Heeter.

This. I don't care for it, aesthetically, but it certainly looks like the maker has put tremendous detail and care into it. I'm much more inclined to mock the slab sided titanium framelocks with quarter inch thick blades that sell for $1000+ on Instagram than this. With the fish I at least can see the reason for the price tag, even if I wouldn't pay it myself.

I wouldn't know how to grip that thing but at least the edge look crisp!

I'd pay $9,99.

Maybe I'm a philistine, but that looks like some pot-metal concoction you might find at a flea market. Is there any description of the materials or something that might justify the price, or is it some kind of joke I'm too dense to understand (probably the latter)?

For that special person who is looking for their porpoise in life.
I'd really like to see another knife held up close to it, you know, for scale. Before they lure me in, I really need to know if shipping is included. Is the price the reel cost? Then again, I'm sure someone will buy it just for the halibut.

This maker; Suchat Jangtanong has a bunch of knives listed on that super expensive online store with a South Western US State in their name. Seems like he's a pretty famous Bladesmith.

Of course the proper spelling doesn't actually match the OP's sloppy attempt to throw shade at him. I guess they don't teach subjects like this in "school" anymore. As always. Bold is mine.

The first picture isn't his makers mark, nor that of his one son whose work I also have seen.
