Worth buying this mini grip?

It should be 440C, not 400C. If it is 440, it is an early mini grip. IIRC that is the first steel they used, when they first came out with the Mini Grip.
I bought one right after they first came out, and carried it daily for a few years, and used it hard. It held up very well.

It is certainly worth $35. I would give it a thorough cleaning, especially around the Axis lock. Sometimes they get dirt or lint around the lock area from use and from being in pocket, and don't want to lock up correctly. Work the chips out of the edge as long as they aren't very big, put a new edge on it, and use it.

They are a great knife. If you buy it and don't like it, although I doubt that :D, you could easily sell it and get your money back out of it.... The Mini Grip is one of the few knives that I will never be without

My bad, didn't mean to submit this thread. I wrote it in here then decided I would probably have more viewers in the general discussion area.

I have no clue how to close/lock it so if a mod could do that it would be appreciated.

Easy to do yourself, if you wish. :)

Look at the blue line right above your first post. You will see several menu items on the right side of that line. One is named "Administrative". If you select that you will see a single choice, "Close Thread", which will already be selected (if not, just click the button to the left of those words) and then select the "Proceed" button. Thread closed and you will have learned how to use one of the tools available to us. Cool, huh? ;)
