Ditto. Got mine on Tuesday. HUGE! I'm almost thinking with some tweeking, one of the inserts could be used for a KZII. It might come out cockeyed handle-wise, but it seems wide enough and beefy enough to fit.
GregS nailed it. In my pack, I always carry a casserole dish, a can of green beans, and some Campbell's Cream of Mushroom.
Les Stroud doesn't teach this stuff.
Seriously, my aunt and uncle gave me some Maya Dust for Xmas; it's basically shaved fatwood.
I also have a small baggie of vaseline impregnated cotton balls in there.
May toss in a couple small sticks of fatwood too, and I need to pick up a fire steel for this rig.
Thanks I was going to ask this question. I have one on order as well, I think I am 3 months in so far. Nice looking sheath and it's great to know that it will be worth the wait
Yea - I'm eating my crow and loving my sheaths too
Beth was so nice, and so convincing, once I spoke with her, I would have bought that sheath for $200 but I'm glad she gave me the original price
