My LMIW "John Holmes" finally showed up. Outstanding sheath at its price point.

nice. It's cool that the altoid tins fit in those pockets. Atleast that's what I'm guessing.

Yeah, the tins are in the pockets in the first pic.

Ditto. Got mine on Tuesday. HUGE! I'm almost thinking with some tweeking, one of the inserts could be used for a KZII. It might come out cockeyed handle-wise, but it seems wide enough and beefy enough to fit.

Huge indeed. All the gear pictured above comes in at 3 lb. 7 oz.
I'm going to need a similar rig on my other hip just so I don't walk in circles. :p

I think they are crispy fried onions, in a survival situation a good green bean casserole can really boost morale.

Nice sheath, I should've ordered one...

GregS nailed it. In my pack, I always carry a casserole dish, a can of green beans, and some Campbell's Cream of Mushroom.

Les Stroud doesn't teach this stuff.

Seriously, my aunt and uncle gave me some Maya Dust for Xmas; it's basically shaved fatwood.
I also have a small baggie of vaseline impregnated cotton balls in there.
May toss in a couple small sticks of fatwood too, and I need to pick up a fire steel for this rig.

Nice.

It would make a great rig!

I should have jumped in on the initial offering. Instead, I just made a boring leather sheath for my B11.

Yea - I'm eating my crow and loving my sheaths too

Beth was so nice, and so convincing, once I spoke with her, I would have bought that sheath for $200 ;) but I'm glad she gave me the original price
