Ever wondered what it would look like to see a 2 foot long, 5 pound khukuri swinging around destroying stuff? If not, are you wondering now? lol
The khukuri was hand made in Nepal using 5160 spring steel, and it is differentially hardened.
This video is the first in another series that I am starting. In this series I will simply find different things to demolish on video. Next time might be fruits... we will see.
Anyways, I have some new video taping equiptment and methods, but I need some fine tuning. Don't let that you distract you from the destruction.
Enjoy!

Haha! Nice job on the kiddie desk. That khuk is insane, i hope the edge rolls were easy to re-align.

They weren't bad to get straightened up for the most part. I'm not skilled enough to get it perfect, but I absolutely have a chopping edge once again.
I guess that I had been watching to many Busse destruction tests... But I can't help but think that most any edge, Busse or otherwise, would have at least rolled a bit.

I didn't design or make this knife, but I am redesigning the handle to be thinner and longer, and the blade might be slightly thinner (in profile, not spine)

Anyways, the test was just for fun :-)
Next I'll get myself some watermelons to play with!

I'll also be designing a 36" blade khukuri based off of the traditional Nepalese sacrificial khukuri... That will be interesting!

That is a great looking Khukri.

I'd balk at the weight, though.

5lb is just too heavy for repetitive swinging.

Checking a swingchanging direction or controlling it after a glancing blow, especially with one hand, is scary.
