Would an AKTI fund in honor of James Mattis be a good idea?

Would it be appropriate for us to donate to AKTI in James' honor? He loved knives and supported the efforts of AKTI. I would gladly contribute to, and coordinate such an effort.Checks could be made directly to AKTI with James' name on the subject line. For newbies, AKTI stands for American Tool and Knife Institute, and is sort of like the NRA in helping protect the rights of knife hobbiests and the knife industry. Does anybody else think this is a good idea?

I was thinking along the same lines, maybe a fund to keep his AKTI #SA0001 alive. James was the first person to become a "Silver Ambassador" with the organization, and it was a cause he seemed to believe in.
