Would it be blasphemy to alter a Camillus era BK-9?

Howdy all,
I have a Camillus era BK-9. I am thinking of stripping the blade, polishing it somewhat and doing a full convex grind to it.

So... Blasphemy? Would I get hung/shot/laughed at/tortured/set upon the rack for doing so?

Anybody got any pics of the same?
 
make it yours - mod it to your heart's content.
grind the ramp off, strip it, 'vex the edge.
use it like there's no tomorrow and post pictures.

Hell yeah man I stripped my patrol machete. The only other Camillus era Beckers I have are my 10 and Machax. The 10 doesn't get modded, but I may reprofile the Machax. Just remember to take lots of pix to appease the Becker gods!
 
it's just a dang knife. If you own it, anything you want to do with it is fine.

This fan boy stuff is getting out of hand. :D
 
If you do the dance first, you should be okay. Get naked, jump over a campfire three times yelling "CHANGE MY BECKER". You're good to go after that.
 
IMO camillus aren't too too collectable and I've modded the few I had. I wouldn't however touch a Cincinnati model
 
I'm modding a beat up Camillus Mark 1 I'm sure that's much more blasphemous. Pics soon...

It's only allowable if a bikini-clad redhead holds the knife during cooling phases. Video evidence required.
