Would like opinions on this knife

I wouldn't pay $75 for any knife with 420HC bladesteel.

You can find so much more for that price range. It sounds like he just bought a blade and liner kit from a place like knifekits.com and put his own handles onto it. Since it took his time and materials, he feels he should get some decent coin out of it. In reality, the blade and hardware probably aren't anything special.

Just my opinion though... I could be wrong.

I'm iffy on it.

Looks like the individual put some time into it, therefore probably good fit.

So, if it appeals to you, compare it with similiar knives (as far as price), then remember it's effectively a one of a kind (pretty close, anyway).

It won't be an investment, but a user.

Just thoughts.

reach down and make the decision. buy it if you like it quit seeking approval and blaze your on trail. time to MAN up.
Looks good for carry.

The knife is one of the Darryl Ralph kits from knifekits.com. It's called the All American Lockback and sells for $16.95. (without handle material) I would suggest trying out one of their all torx screw construction knives like the DDR3, GX-6 or the GPC-1000. They have an excellent fit and much better steel than the one on ebay.(cryogenically treated AUS-8)

The All-torx screw construction kits are fairly easy to build and you need a minimum of tools to do it. Basically, all you need is 3 or 4 grits of sandpaper and a torx wrench. (GX-6 & GPC-100 pictured below) I've put together several of these knives and given them as gifts.

I wouldn't pay $75 for a 420HC kit knife. There are some excellent nice looking traditional lockbacks for less than that, hell you can get a Cabela's S30V Buck 110 for $60!! EKA folders are also worth a look.
