I am not an expert on myrtle, but I used it once to create a custom handle for a stick tang knife, and I thought it was really cool. I also like the fact that it comes from Oregon, which is in the U.S., which means it doesn't have to travel so far to get to Chicago.
I would like to see pictures of knives with myrtle. Here is the one I made. This is the best picture I have.
I would also like to finally have the answer to the age-old question: "Who put the turtle in Myrtle's girdle?"
Do you have pictures of a knife with a myrtle burl handle? If so , please post.
Thanks.
