I think this would be a great addition to an already good lineup, either as a special run or a new standard model.
Would this be a possibility?

Greg, Where can I get one?!?

Greg - Anything is possible, especially with existing models (less tooling).

However, we've noticed that Micarta is not the "big seller" when given a choice.

Thanks for the response Sal!
I've always loved Micarta better than anything else. My Wayne Goddard is probably my favorite Spydie. I guess G10 is more popular?
Do you think a special run would go over better than the Native or Matriarch?
Wow, what about a Special Edition Endura in 440V and Micarta!

Ummm.... G-10 handled Endura with Linerlock perhaps?

I know, how about a micarta handle, 4" flat ground VG10 blade. Wait, that's a Calypso and boy is it a sweet slicer. I got mine before they were gone and I love it. It is, imho, the classiest Spyderco. The Military might be my workhorse (and not a day goes by that I don't use it) but the Calypso has a special place in my heart. Slim, light and I love the spine.

You guys have a good point about the calypso. The full size ,micarta model is almost like an upsale endura. They are more pricey and I still see them around even though they're no longer made.
Maybe this is another "solution to an nonexistant problem".
I'm also suprised at Sal's comment on the low sales of micarta models. I love them.Thats a suprise to me.
