I've been working on an American Practical Hunter, which I refer to as "Sarge," for some time now.
I'm not a knifesmith, but I am very pleased at the way this blade turned out. It is definitely NOT a knife show blade.
I've offered it to Bill Martino for HI, but...first I need some decent pictures of the blade thickness, blade bevels (3!), and over-all look, taken by someone who knows how. The only image I have is an early scan done by a neighbor kid.
It's not fancy, and the handle is just the last piece of antler I had left. The hilt is the top of an old spoon.
But those are not important, the blade design is. I'd like to get some decent shots so that Cantina folks can see it, and if they like it...well, we'll go from there.
I'll mail to you, and pay postage back. Just email me @ Kismethimself@yahoo.com.
Thank you folks.
