Im thinking about the BK5 for a pig sticker knife. Do you think that would be good for that? How wide is the blade?

I finally have the BK5 coming. Im excited. I need a sheath for it. Looks like it should have a leather sheath. I hit up Azweleke on his site for a sheath for my BK9 but he never responded to me.

Definitely, the bk5 could be the ultimate pig sticker[emoji12]

I have an Azwelke sheath for my BK5; a bit pricey after all the options are added, worth the wait. You will really like the BK5.

I have a 5, it's should be a fine pig sticker. Mr Fisk designed a splendid blade, Ethan's handle makes it a joy. I convexed mine and I still can't believe what a fine item it is. Just having it near a pig will cause porky to transform into a freezer full of delicious butcher wrapped meaty goodness.

I'm moving off thread a tad, but I was googling pig sticker; it's amazing how many terms are in the urban dictionary. Pig sticker is among them.

Can't wait to get my own 5 in! Think I need another 9 as well. I saw a mod that shapes the tip more like a traditional bowie blade. I want one to mod like that.

If you don't mind kydex check out 710 sheaths. He can do a leather wrap on the kydex that looks fantastic.

The 5 will probably be my next Becker. I really dig my 15.

Here's a pic of my 15 with a leather dangler. With the add ons(dangler and leather wrap)it wasn't cheap, but entirely worth it.
