Would the Congress Tools 1/2"x6" SiC Triangular stones round out the Sharpmaker?

Ok so just a brief outline. I have had excellent result with reprofiling blades on the Sharpmaker with the Ruby stones available from Congress Tools. After reading some of Ankersons posts about using the 400 grit moldmaster Sic stones. I got to thinking that since they are carried in 1/2"x6" they would round the Sharpmaker out even better than the Ruby stones. Since, from what I have gathered, they cut aggressively like diamond. I have reprofiled CTS-XHP and S30V ( I know nothing super wear resistant ) with the Ruby. But I figured these could tackle higher wear steels. Thoughts?

Nobody? Lol. I guess I will buy one and report back when it comes.

Your email prompted me to order some Ruby stones. But afte reading that the Congress stones can be irregular, I went with the 1x1/8x6 stones which I will clamp or tape to my Sharpmaker rods.

Yah, I have heard that from others as well. I haven't had issues with mine. But I have the 1x1/8x6" and they felt weird to me taped to the stones. I am sure that is just personal preference.
