Anyone have any interest or is this just crazy talk?

It may have been brought up before...a two blade Sebenza. One blade is drop point, the other is Insingo. You would have a right hand and left hand model mated together, there would be no “show side” as each outboard scale would be a frame lock. The center “liner” would be a show side as a solid piece. This would allow to have pb washers for each blade. The only changes from common stock on hand would be longer barrel nuts for pivot and body screws, the single thumb lugs would have to be installed backward so they face outward on each side.

Ok. Debate. Attack. Whatever...I’m a crusty old boat hand with too much time to think.

"You know, it's crazy enough it just might work!!"

So, not sure why a L and R. Since we are imagineering this, I'm thinking like an old Case 2-blade canoe. Pivots on opposite ends.

If they could do it without the centre liner I’d buy one.

If anyone can do that its crk.

I was thinking lock sides would have to be on outsides because a frame lock as the center liner would not have much clearance to push over to close blade it locks.

If they can pay homage to something like the belown I would be over it

Sounds like one of those cool ideas everyone likes and no one buys. Like a Spyderco Dyad; a tough sell for the typical audience.

Being new to Chris Reeve Knives, it does not seem like something they would put out. That being said, I would 100% get one. It would be way too cool to pass up.

I would buy one and I actually tried that as an experiment years ago with a right and left hand regular sebenza.

If CRK stays in business long enough they'll have to make it. Witness the slipjoint Impinda.

Interesting, but they still have limited capacity and I am not sure I would want them to eliminate anything to make way for it. Regardless I am sure they would not build it unless they could build it well.

They have my permission to make one, after they finish my Large Mnandi, my Small Umnumzaan, and my fully serrated Startac Umnumzaan.

Not for me, unfortunately. The little Victorinox SAKs are okay, but the idea presented here is getting near the Leatherman size multi tool not carried in a pocket but a belt sheath.
