I so bad wanna do this. I can't justify it. But if someone out there wanted this knife, I would do it in a heartbeat. Probably need to fully texture the handle too, to rebalance the weight.
 
It's a Cold Steel Mayhem. I want to get one in my hands and turn it into that. Not to keep it or anything. Just because (in my mind) it needs to exist.
 
Never knew what the Atlas Lock was until last night. Sounds like a lot of fun. Part of why I’m interested in the Mayhem now. But I really wish they had a four inch knife with it. And an opening hole. And tip down carry. So picky, right?
 
I also think the lock could use a sleeker redesign. No need for it to dip down as an abrupt cutout in the handle profile like that. Could be done more ergonomically and more aesthetically pleasingly (at least to my eye) without compromising function.

Your redesign / mod drastically changes the stock Mayhem , I'd say much for the better , generally . 😎:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Pointier , lighter , faster . Slightly less awkward and pocket hogging .

And of course , those wonderful serrations ! ☺️
