I picked up in trade 2 Case XX U.S.A. pocket knives:

1. 6247HP 9 Dot no rust, but sharpened slightly and the sheepsfoot blade is slightly "relaxed".

2. 6307 2 Dot Slight "peppering" on the CV blades, but super strong backsprings also some sharpening but not much.

Both knives have no cracks or chips in the bone scales.

So??? Do any of you carry vintage Case knives or would you?

Sure, I would, the Case numbering system didn't start using dots till the 70's so they're not that old or unless there's something else special about them, they're monetary value is neglible, I'd use 'em.

Yep, I just got two Case knives from the seventies today and intend to carry both of them. One is a 6231-1/2 and the other is 6375, both mint, but I am going to carry them. I also got a Blue Scroll set of mint stag Case knives that I intend to sell! :D I say carry away!

I did some research tonight, and in the shape their in, they are both worth around 40.00 each, and I thought crap I carry 100.00+ knives and don't think about it, so I'm gonna sharpen up the 6207 and put'er to work!
