We can't say we didn't see this coming—the Comcast tech that fell asleep at a guy's house has been fired. There was a time when company reps/techs could pull this kind of stuff on a customer and only receive an angry phone call in return. Now, thanks to the power of the internet and our collective schadenfraude, no bad deed goes unpunished. It's as it should be.

We hope this guy finds another job (we don't have anything against him personally) and learns a lesson from this episode. – Jason Chen

Who can blame the guy. You go eat a heavy lunch, then sit down on hold for an hour?? How easy would it be to let your eyes roll back into your head and doze off. He got fired because comcast runs a leaky ship. I'm not saying he should be allowed to nap on the job, but jeez. Probably came from the last apointment and had waited on the phone for an hour then too.

I have to agree. I might have drifted off as well. It sucks he lost his job, and Comcast and their garbage service even to their own techs is the cause. I've been canned unfairly and it really bites. Hope this draws lots of attention to their service and the guy gets another shot somewhere.
