would you like to see an upgraded KRK&T KFF?

I really like the Columbia River KFF. I think it is an awesome knife for its pricepoint. They make an upgraded version of the M-16 that has AUS-8 and carbon fiber scales. I would like to see them offer an upgraded KFF with a better steel and better handle material. Maybe ATS-34 and carbon fiber scales? What do you think?

I like the ATS-34, but I think I'd rather have G10 on the scales. I like the feel of my Carnivore and Sifu's G10 scales. Now, think of the Carny with the KFF grips! Though I have no problem with the LAWKS, how about REKAT's Rolling Lock? The fit of the KFF's handle is really unsurpassed in folders. Like the WORTAC!

I would love to see more of Pat Crawford's
designs use the Rolling Lock.

I love the Rolling Lock and my Carnivore. I had a CRK&T
KFF and liked it a great deal. Upgrading both the blade steel and handle material would be a welcomed improvment.

I am sure that REKAT wouldn't let them use the rolling lock, although that would be nice.

G-10 or Carbon Fiber with a better grade blade steel is what I would like to see. They did it for the M-16, why not the Kasper?

I'd like to see titanium liners and either micarta or slightly rough carbon fiber scales. The thing that bothers me most is the weight of the KFF, so Ti liners are a must for an upgrade, IMHO.

Take care,
Tobse !

I agree, the weight of the large KFF needs to be drastically reduced with say Ti liners and handle drilled out ala Crawford.

I couldn't agree more. Any better steel and handle material would make me much happier. However, I need to mention that they need to tighten the liner lock so it can't be disengaged so easily.
