G'day Herman,
You have shared quite a number of Schrade History story's with me in recent times for which I am most thankful including Schrade Flyers.
Would you be so kind as to share some reminiscences of your Knife shows and Schrade history here?
We rarely get access to the knowledge former Schrade people have which would add so much to our collective forum history..you were there with our much revered U/ Albert and U/Henry and I know there are recollections you have and may possibly share without breaking any confidences?...None of us are getting any younger.....!....
May I start a few topics you have discussed e.g. 'The Fortune' knife' and advert in U'Henry's office.
The Mexican Imperial knives, and how they missed ending up on 'the wall', and perhaps your recounting how you obtained and valued for Sargents #2 your ultra rare S/Cut Co Perpetual Calendar knife and confirm your thoughts on my gold perpetual calendar S/Cut Co of which you have seen many photos and authenticated.
What do you consider the single most desirable Schrade knife to you, that you ever owned. We are aware so many of the knives "on the ill fated wall" originally were owned by you.
Anything you wish to share would be greatly appreciated by all the members here who love all things USA Schrade.
Many thanks, Hoo Roo from Oz.Larry303.
