... if I actually used my NICA 5.5" Green Beret? I love the sheath much more than the nylon variety that comes with the standard GB's. It seems a shame to let it sit in the safe. It almost begs to be carried and used. I imagine Mr. Reeve would approve. Oh, the angst!

Yes...you would be crazy.
 
Let it sit in the closet for a couple of weks til the newness has worn off. Then get it out , look at it and make a decision. You may find a nice place to display it in the china cabinet or somewhere where it can be enjoyed.
Me , I would nt consider the knife unless it was going to be used.
 
I don't buy any knife unless I am prepared to use it, so the only thing I can write is: "use it!"

This is my opinion too. You have to use it to know how good it is and to make it your knife. If not, it is just another object with no "life". From this point of view, I'm not a very good knife collector because I always use and try the knives I buy.
 
If I'm not mistaken. . . .you can send it to CRK and they will "refurb" it for you. :D


So, this only means one thing. . . . . .
